In December, the U.S. Postal Service announced plans to acquire at least 66,000 battery electric delivery vehicles between now and 2028. All those vehicles will have to be charged up, though—and now a company whose parent is headquartered in Dallas has been enlisted to help.
Rexel Energy Solutions, a business unit of Dallas-based Rexel USA, has been awarded a three-year contract with the U.S. Postal Service for the supply of EV charging stations to be deployed at Postal Service facilities. The three-year contract includes two additional two-year options, with a potential maximum of 41,500 stations that could be delivered.
Rexel Energy Solutions is one of the country’s leading distributors of EV charging products and services. Based in Taunton, Massachusetts, it also delivers energy optimization and electrification programs and solutions.
