Barnard postmaster Sylvia Bradley (70), of Randolph, was in Windsor County Court on Tuesday to answer to the charges of gross negligence resulting in serious injury. The incident occurred on July 20 when Bradley was allegedly driving north along Route 12 and struck a pedestrian, Pattie Webster (61) of Barnard.
According to a court affidavit, Webster sustained a broken shoulder, broken right big toe and bruises. Vermont State Police (VSP), White River Valley Ambulance Service and Barnard first responders responded to the scene.
