The United States Postal Service responded to a report that one San Antonio-area mail sorting facility was behind schedule. The article by Fox San Antonio claimed that “hundreds of thousands of packages have been sitting in mail facilities here in San Antonio for more than a week,” according to a whistle blower from the facility. The article was published on Monday, December 18.
A USPS spokesperson said that the San Antonio Processing & Distribution Center is constantly receiving, processing, and moving mail in and out of its 24-hour operation, and that “the processing and sorting machines, employees, and the mail never stop.”
