LEDYARD — The local U.S. Post Office was the scene of a brawl between two employees Wednesday morning, police say.
One employee, Cekora I. Hill, 30, of Ledyard, was arrested and charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening.
Police said several officers responded to the Ledyard Post Office at 764 Colonel Ledyard Highway around 6:50 a.m. Wednesday for a report of two people engaged in a “physical altercation.” Hill and another employee were involved in an argument that escalated into a scuffle, according to police.
Hill was released on a $5,000 bond, police said. She is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in New London at 10 a.m. on Dec. 15.
