DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The postal service is launching an investigation after someone dumped hundreds of pieces of mail in a DeKalb County neighborhood.
Channel 2′s Christian Jennings spoke with the woman who found the mail and turned it in.
Michele Wilson was shocked when she noticed hundreds of pieces of mail dumped in this ravine by her home on villa drive in DeKalb County.
“It took me about 20 minutes to collect it and scale back up after I tumbled down and scraped my leg,” Wilson said.
She posted a photo on her Nextdoor app, and neighbors immediately chimed in to say they were missing important documents.
