A Lehigh Valley woman upset about her mail pulled out what appeared to be a handgun at a local post office, pointed it at a clerk and pulled the trigger, Pennsylvania State Police said.
The gun in the incident last week was later determined to be a BB gun, troopers at the Bethlehem barracks said.
The Allentown woman was arrested and charged with simple assault, making terroristic threats causing serious public inconvenience, and disorderly conduct.
The 37-year-old was sent to Lehigh County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail, and she remained there as of Wednesday.
