The Postal Service wants employees to beware of fraudulent websites that pose a cybersecurity threat to the organization.

To steal money or information, cybercriminals create fake sites that mimic legitimate ones.

The organization recently learned of a new fraudulent version of LiteBlue, a website for employees, and took quick action to shut it down.

The legitimate LiteBlue site is located at liteblue.usps.gov.

To avoid fraudulent websites, USPS recommends that employees:

• Save the LiteBlue website address as a favorite in their browser.

• Do not share login information with others, including managers, co-workers or anyone outside USPS.

• Keep their employee identification number confidential.

• Connect to USPS applications using secure connections that avoid public Wi-Fi or public computers.

• Check their account for any unusual activity every time they log into LiteBlue.

Employees should report suspicious activity to the USPS Cybersecurity Operations Center by emailing cybersafe@usps.gov or calling 866-877-7247.

The CyberSafe at USPS Blue and LiteBlue pages have more information.
