SALINAS, Calif. —
Salinas police arrested a woman who is accused of threatening postal workers with a replica gun.
According to investigators, Yelena Shen, 41, began threatening staff at the post office with the fake gun over missing mail.
“Shen was upset and threatened staff stating that if she did not get her mail back she would be back in four days, yelling all of this while holding a replica handgun,” the police department said.
Shen left the post office after making the threat.
Salinas officer called Shen and told her that her mail had been found. When she arrived she was arrested.
