A woman has been arrested after Tulsa police say she struck a postal worker with her truck before slamming into another car.
It happened Thursday morning near Braden and Yale.
When officers arrived at the scene of the crash, they found Tamie Thompson, also known as Tamie Vann. Two women were inside the other car, but they are okay.
Officers spoke with the postal worker, who said that he was walking through the intersection when he saw Thompson’s truck. The victim said Thompson began honking her horn at him, and then speed up.
The victim managed to jump out of the way, but he was hit by Thompson’s side view mirror. The victim then witnessed the crash.
Investigators say the Thompson has previously made threats to the mail carrier, and no longer receives mail at her address as a result.
