MIAMI – Police officers arrested a U.S. Postal Service employee who was accused of losing her patience while a man used a phone to record her in Miami.

The video shows Shintell Latoya Ford making contact with Miguel Bravo’s phone on Dec. 9, at the USPS Jose Marti station, at 425 NW 27 Ave., in Little Havana.

Ford was forced to spend Saturday night in jail.

Bravo said he was confronting Ford for allegedly being rude to a woman who didn’t speak English, and while he was recording her, she snatched his phone away from him, and caused a red bruise on his left hand in the process, according to the arrest report.

Ford handed the phone to another USPS employee who returned it to Bravo, police said. Miami-Dade County correctional officers released Ford, who is facing a charge of robbery by sudden snatching, on a $5,000 bond on Saturday.
