The United States Postal Service announced a 2.4 day average time during its third-quarter call, and more than 93% of first-class mail arrived on time. The service measures arrival time against its USPS Service Standard guidelines. This performance of first-class mail was a jump of 5.7% from the second quarter. Additionally, more than 94% of marketing mail was delivered on time, an increase of 2.6%.
