This little piggy went to … Beech Grove? Pot-bellied pig chases postal worker

Pig jokes were flying in the comment section of a post on social media Thursday afternoon after images of what looked like a dark spotted pot-bellied pig were captured in Beech Grove.

“Anyone missing a pig?” Samantha White posted. “He’s chasing the poor mail lady around my neighborhood.” White said the woman was working for USPS and she contacted Animal Care Services to pick the animal up.

Animal Care Services confirmed they did capture the pig at North 25th Avenue and Troy Street near Perkins Avenue in Beech Grove. It was considered a stray and if there is an owner who can come forward they have four business days to claim the animal before the pig will be sent to a rescue.

“I hope this piggy finds his way back home,” White told IndyStar.
