FLORENCE S.C. (WPDE) — An Andrews man pleaded guilty to his role in the robbery of a United States Postal Service mail carrier and a marijuana trafficking conspiracy.
Evidence established that on September 23, 2019, 30-year-old Jerome Terrell Davis and his co-defendant Trevor Raekwon Seward were anticipating two pounds of marijuana to be delivered that was shipped from California through USPS.
Rather than deliver the package, postal worker, Irene Pressley, put a form in Seward’s mailbox stating that the authorized recipient would need to come to the post office to claim the package, according to a release from the U.S. Dept. of Justice.
