San Francisco Postal Worker Robbed At Gunpoint

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A postal worker was robbed at gunpoint and packages and his cellphone were taken in San Francisco’s Ingleside neighborhood Tuesday, police said.

Officers responded at 5:01 p.m. to the area of Lee and Holloway avenues regarding a robbery that had just occurred. The victim said he was working and was sitting in his parked postal vehicle when he noticed a male pointing a gun at him and another male next to him, police said.

The suspects demanded the man’s property. He complied and the suspects stole several packages and the victim’s cellphone.

The suspects fled the scene and officers have not located them during the preliminary investigation. The U.S. Postal Police are also investigating.
