Postal worker saves mail moments before fire destroys truck in Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – A U.S. postal service truck caught fire while delivering mail in Mobile on Tuesday.

The fire happened in a neighborhood on Mayflower Street just off Airport Boulevard.

The mail carrier noticed smoke and got out safely. He also managed to get all of the mail out before the fire spread through the vehicle.

It’s unclear how the fire started
