BOSTON – Police are investigating after a piece of metal and landed on a postal worker and his car as he drove by a construction site in Boston’s Seaport District.
It happened Wednesday afternoon in the area of 400 Summer St. next to a large building under construction.
Ujjal Saud said he is still in the hospital with a neck brace and cut on his nose.
“I have a headache right now, I have neck pain,” Saud said. “I thought somebody hit a bat on my car, but it was something that fell on my roof.”
Despite his injuries, Saud said he feels like because if the debris had fallen a bit closer to him, the injuries could have been much worse.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) confirmed it is responding to the scene.
