Postmaster Louis DeJoy has appointed Angela D. Lawson to the position of Vice President, Technology Applications, effective immediately.Angela has been acting in this role since June 30.
In this role, Angela is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of secure and innovative software solutions that drive business optimization, achieve organizational objectives,andimprove the customer’s experience.
She is also responsible for modernizing essential technology platforms that support core business functions.Prior to acting as vice president, Angela served as the Senior Director of Systems Integration, where she was responsible for leading the development of logistics visibility programs and the strategy of the enterprise data management program.
During her career, Angela has held several positions with increasing responsibilities including Manager of Address Quality Programs, Manager of Address Technology, Director of Advanced Analytics, and Alabama District Manager.
