Shibani S. Gambhir and Robert H. Raines Jr. have been appointed to lead separate business divisions, effective immediately.

As Business Development vice president, Gambhir will lead commercial strategy across the Postal Service, including spearheading design and planning for a $10 billion shipping portfolio.

Previously, Gambhir was customer contracts and pricing director, where she forged multibillion-dollar customer-focused relationships while balancing operational needs.

Raines will become Business Solutions vice president. Previously, he was global business managing director, whose portfolio is moving under the Business Solutions organization to better align international and domestic product offerings.

In his former role, he led negotiations forging agreements with foreign postal administrations and suppliers and developed initiatives to improve international products and services.

Gambhir has been with USPS since 2007, while Raines has been with the organization for 34 years and has served in a variety of capacities, including as International Operations executive director.

Both Gambhir and Raines report to Jakki Krage Strako, chief commerce and business solutions officer.
