CHICAGO — Postmaster General Louis DeJoy recently visited Chicago to meet with local Postal Service leadership to discuss the ongoing implementation of the Postal Service’s bold and innovative 10-year plan, Delivering for America.
During the visit, DeJoy administered the Oath of Office to 120 newly named postmasters working across Illinois, including James Shelton in Alton, Melinda Partridge in Bunker Hill, Kyarra Woods in Edwardsville, Kasey Dowd in Gillespie, Stephani Patton in Glen Carbon, Stephanie Marable in Maryville Patrick Streeval in White Hall, Andrew Sertich in Highland, Kizzie Austin in Millstadt, Jennifer Carlock in Pocahontas, Keith Hamilton in Greenville and Yolonda Lovelace in Troy.
“Postmasters are important leaders of commerce in their local community, and I know each of these new postmasters are committed to delivering the reliable service Illinoisans expect and deserve from the postal service,” said DeJoy.
