Man arrested after USPS driver reports being followed, postal facility placed on lockdown

A man was arrested Wednesday after a USPS mail delivery driver said they were followed by a car that tried to get him to stop his mail truck.

The Tarrant Police Department said the incident happened just before 4:00 p.m. while the delivery driver was out on his route.

Police said the delivery driver was followed by the car back to a USPS location. The mail carrier pulled into an employee parking lot

The man arrested was identified as Kordell Rashad Mallory. Police said a gun and marijuana were seized from the vehicle suspected of following the USPS driver.

Mallory was charged with first degree unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
