The Postal Service will offer its next virtual career fair for front-line supervisory positions on June 12 at 1 p.m. Eastern time.

USPS is offering the fairs through “Focus on the Front,” an initiative to fill more than fill 1,700 Executive and Administrative Schedule Level 17 supervisory jobs.

The fairs are designed to educate potential applicants about the knowledge and skills needed to be competitive and expectations of the role. Individual sessions cover how to apply for vacancies in eCareer and tips for interviewing.

During the first virtual fair, held May 22, attendees heard from leaders throughout the organization about the importance of front-line supervisors and responsibilities of the role.

“Stepping up into a supervisory role can be one of the most challenging yet rewarding moves in your postal career. The impact you can have on our employees and customers is immeasurable, and the doors that it can open is well worth the challenge,” said Isaac Cronkhite, the Postal Service’s chief logistics and processing operations officer.

“If you want to make difference and grow your career, always do your best in any role that you are assigned and be willing to raise your hand and take on tough challenges.”

In addition to the June 12 session, fairs will be held July 24 and Aug. 14, all Sundays. Each fair starts at 1 p.m. Eastern and is open to both career and noncareer employees.

Employees must complete an online registration form to participate in one of the fairs.
