COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — A Columbia US Postal Service worker is facing federal charges after court records say she embezzled several postal service-related items from her employer.
In an indictment filed on Tuesday, Shawna Smoak is accused of embezzling several items from her company, including letters, postal cards, packages, bags and mail, among other things.
Smoak is facing a federal charge of theft of mail matter by an officer or employee.
