18-year-old from Laingsburg dies after crash with mail truck

LAINGSBURG, Mich. (WILX) – An 18-year-old is dead after a crash with a USPS mail truck near Laingsburg on Friday.

The crash happened around 11:20 a.m. on June 14 on Hollister Road near Parker Road in Victor Township.

According to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, the Laingsburg man was driving southbound and rear-ended a postal truck. The postal truck was being driven by a 34-year-old Laingsburg woman.

The 18-year-old was ejected from his car. He was taken to Sparrow Hospital where he later died.

The mail truck driver was also taken to Sparrow for minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation
