Brian Harris, a spokesperson for the USPIS, told Patch police were called to the 7600 block of Coddle Harbor Lane on Thursday in response to a robbery. A carrier was delivering mail when she was approached by a suspect who demanded USPS property while displaying a firearm concealed in his waistband, authorities said.
According to a report by ABC 7, the suspect stole the carrier’s mailbox keys before fleeing.
The mail carrier was not injured, Harris said.
The suspect is described as a Black male in his late 20s to early 30s. He is approximately 5-feet 8-inches tall and was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt, light blue denim jeans, and black and white sneakers, according to authorities.
