Garrett M. Hoyt, Technology Applications vice president, will retire after 36 years with the Postal Service.

Angela Lawson has been named acting Technology Applications vice president, starting June 30.

During Hoyt’s tenure, he directed the development of technology applications, including the integrated logistics platform, Click-N-Ship, address validation, price changes, fleet management, payroll, product tracking and reporting, and the integrated budget system.

He helped oversee the COVID-19 test kit initiative by leading the team that designed, developed and deployed the ordering platform during the pandemic.
