Slidell Man Sentenced to 78 Months for Conspiracy to Commit $250,000 Bank Fraud and Aggravated Identity Theft Connection with Postal “Blue Box” Thefts
RONALD S. RILEY, JR. (“RILEY”), age 28, of Slidell, Louisiana was sentenced for conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft, announced U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans. Judge Wendy Vitter sentenced him to 54 months on Count 1 and 24 months on Count 2, that must be served consecutively to Count 1. RILEY was also ordered to pay $200 in mandatory special assessment fees. A hearing will be held on January 30, 2024 to determine specific restitution amounts due to the victims.
