MILWAUKEE —
The United States Postal Inspection Services, FBI and Milwaukee Police Department are all pitching in to find the person responsible for killing a USPS letter carrier in Milwaukee Friday.
It happened near 65th Street and Lancaster Avenue. Come Monday, no one is in custody, and Milwaukee police said they do not have a suspect.
A USPIS spokesperson told WISN 12 News over the phone Monday morning that they are “pouring resources” into the investigation. They said they added more bodies and investigators on the ground in the City.
They do have a vehicle of interest in the case. They’re looking for a silver Audi Q5 SUV with tinted windows. Surveillance video captured that car waiting nearby. You can hear a gunshot and see a person run back into the car.
