The Postal Service is expanding the USPS Smart Locker offering to additional locations beginning September 2023, providing a new package delivery alternative for customers.
The state-of-the-art Smart Lockers are being installed in select Post Office lobby locations across the country—and many will have 24/7 access.
Customers wanting extra security for their packages will appreciate having a free, direct-to-locker delivery option when shipping high-value items.
In addition to direct-to-locker deliveries, USPS Smart Lockers provide an alternative to the “left-notice shelf” for redeliveries, and oversized PO Box packages, encouraging customers to skip the retail line and retrieve packages directly from a Smart Locker.
