SHELBY COUNTY, OHIO — Fire caused damaged to a rural Shelby County post office, which will force mail service to move to Sidney, according to a spokesperson for the United States Postal Service.
The fire was called out around 1:30 p.m. at the post office in Pemberton, located on Palestine Street, about a half-mile north of state Route 706, dispatchers confirmed to News Center 7.
Several fire departments from across Shelby County were all called to the fire. The number of departments that did respond wasn’t immediately known.
No injuries were initially reported.
