Rosamond’s new postmaster, Sarah Stiles, is being sworn in at a ceremony 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Rosamond Post Office.

Stiles began her postal career 16 years ago as a carrier in Simi Valley. Since then, she has worn multiple hats in the U.S. Postal Service, working in customer relations, marketing, sales and her most recent role, customer service supervisor, according to a USPS news release.

Stiles, a Tehachapi resident, will manage four employees and oversee retail services at the Rosamond Post Office, as well the daily distribution of mail to 7,966 delivery stops and to 2,182 PO Boxes at her facility to a community of over 21,000 residents, the release notes.

Stiles replaces Phillip Fudally, who has retired.
