Senator Collins calls for USPS to address mail disruptions in Maine

U.S. Senator Susan Collins says she sent a letter to the U.S. postmaster general, urging him to address the root causes of the continued mail delays in Maine.

In addition to slow service, mail delivery has been irregular, with some USPS customers going several days at a time without receiving mail.

Some Mainers say they’re only getting their mail about once a week. Senator Collins says a Greene resident recently claimed he went five days without mail delivery.
