Another motion today in the fight between USPS and a coalition of labor unions over SOC’s request to see the contract with Amazon in order to determine if USPS is giving its packages preferential treatment, as alleged by many postal workers.

Who actually thinks that the preferential treatment is in the contract? Of course it isn’t! But it most definitely exists, in the form of upper MGT pressuring and threatening lower MGT, in turn pressuring, threatening, manipulating carriers to get the Amazon done and bring back the mail if you run out of time. You’re looking for answers in the wrong place…
