ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF) — A postal worker was attacked Monday afternoon in Annapolis, city police said.
Just before 4:30 p.m., the postal worker was walking in the 1800 block of Copeland Street when a man approached the postal worker and punched him in the face and ripped an earring from his ear, Annapolis city police said. Officer found the victim at the scene, bleeding from his face and ear. The postal worker told the police that it was a random attack.
The man fled the scene in a car before officers arrived, police said. Police did not provide a description of the attacker. Last week, a 17-year-old boy was shot just one block away near the Bywater Mutual Homes. He was taken to a hospital and was expected to recover.
