MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A United States Postal service employee is facing charges after she allegedly stole a check from the mail.
Court documents show that Memphis Police Department took a report on April 18 in a relation to a woman’s complaint that was told to Kootenai County Sherriff’s Office (KCSO) in Idaho.
The woman filed a police report with Kootenai County Sherriff’s Office in Idaho and said that a check was stolen out of her mail in the amount of $638.17, and it as later deposited on Dec. 3 2022 at a Bank of America in Cordova.
The check was reportedly made payable to Gaylord Dirks and Mary Dirks who are the deceased parents of the woman.
Court documents show that the check was endorsed on the back of the check by Ericka Ingram.
