Dear Employees,

Open Season 2022 is here! This is your once-a-year opportunity to make changes to your benefits if you have not experienced a qualified life event. Open Season 2022 officially begins November 14 and ends December 12, 2022. The information on the following pages is being provided to assist you in reviewing your benefits coverage for 2023.

You will find information about the following programs:

Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB).

USPS® Health Benefits Plan (USPS HB) for our non-career employees.

Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Programs (FEDVIP).

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).

Annual Leave Exchange Program (ALE).

Educational material about how your benefits work.

You are also encouraged to visit the Virtual Benefits Fair throughout Open Season 2022. During the live event day, you can view live presentations and chat with a specialist. Additionally, the Benefits and Wellness Team will host webinars throughout Open Season 2022 via the Virtual Benefits Fair platform. You will find detailed information about the Virtual Benefits Fair at liteblue.usps.gov/openseason.

On the website, you will also find a link to CHECKBOOK’s Guide to Health Plans for Federal Employees. This tool helps you compare plans and determine the best plan for you and your family’s health care needs. Premiums are expected to increase this year, so now is a good time to review your coverage and costs.

Let’s stay connected. For important updates throughout Open Season 2022 and beyond, text “Benefits” to 39369. Carrier Short Message Service (SMS) and data rates may apply.

Stay safe and healthy,
Your USPS Benefits and Wellness Team
