Ring doorbell footage shows a woman walking on a front porch in Semmes June 16th to deliver the mail personally.

“I need you. I need you again. $10,” says the delivery woman.

That’s not the delivery fee. The postal worker is “again” asking a 78-year-old woman for cash.

“It told me that she had been there, and she had done this before,” said Lynn Emmons, the 78-year-old’s daughter. “It’s just not right ethically to borrow money from people that you deliver mail to.”

Emmons says her mother has dementia, and she installed the Ring doorbell after her mother told her people were coming on the porch. Now, after seeing the video, Emmons is concerned how many other times she may have given out money.
