Mail truck catches fire outside Wenatchee, WA

WENATCHEE — A mail truck caught on fire Tuesday morning and then flames spread into nearby brush.

Fire crews responded to the call at 11:35 a.m. on Squilchuck Road and contained the fire within about 20 minutes, according to Chief Brian Brett with the Wenatchee Valley Fire Department.

No one was injured. It was not immediately clear whether the truck was carrying mail at the time of the fire.
