North Port public safety departments respond to mail truck fire

NORTH PORT, Fla. (WWSB) – Tuesday, North Port Fire Rescue and the North Port Police Department responded to a vehicle fire involving a mail truck.

At the intersection of North Cranberry Blvd and Natural Street, crews arrived to find a mail truck in flames.

The fire crew worked quickly to extinguish the fire. The driver and undelivered mail were unharmed, and no injuries were reported among the crews.
