Donald Trump makes bizarre claim about the U.S. Postal Service’s control over the presidential election

Donald Trump says that the United States Postal Service (USPS) is running the 2024 election in a new post that accuses the agency of being unprepared to handle mail-in ballots.

The former president pointed to frequent delays and lost mail as proof that USPS cannot be trusted to receive and deliver 2024 ballots filled out at home.

Absentee, early and at-home voting has become much more popular since the COVID-19 pandemic forced states and the federal government to adapt to allowing voters to cast their ballots by mail.

But Trump and his allies claim this is what led to their allegations of massive fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
