With more than 246,000 vehicles driving over a billion miles a year while delivering mail to over 168 million delivery locations throughout the country, the Postal Service™ has one of the largest fleets in the nation.
The fleet is comprised of the following:
n Next Generation Delivery Vehicles (NGDV), and
n Various other kinds of delivery trucks—including electric vehicles.
Postal Service employees are hard at work on the streets you drive, and we need your help to raise awareness about safe motor vehicle driving. Please be careful when you encounter a postal vehicle on the road; drive around them to help prevent mishaps. Together, we can ensure that everyone is safe while we Deliver for America.
