USPS van fully engulfed in flames in Silver Spring

SILVER SPRING, Md. (DC News Now) — A USPS van caught on fire in Silver Spring on Wednesday afternoon.

Pete Piringer, spokesperson for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said a USPS van caught on fire along 16th and Spring streets at around 2 p.m.

Piringer said that the van was fully engulfed in flames, causing some lanes to be blocked.
