Investigators still seeking help in case of murdered Warren postal carrier one month later

It’s been over one month since the murder of postal carrier Jonte Davis in broad daylight in a Warren neighborhood. Now, investigators still looking for information on the case.

The United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) is still offering a $250,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest in conviction of any suspects in Davis’s murder on the 600 Block of Olive Avenue March 2.
No suspects have been named at this time, but the USPIS says any suspects in this murder should be considered armed and dangerous.

One 911 caller reported hearing four to five gunshots fired after someone driving a grey pickup truck drove by Davis’s mail truck. Another caller reported seeing the mail truck drive into a yard after the shots were fired.

Days after the murder, Warren Police along with the FBI and USPIS conducted a search warrant at a home on Forest Street. No agency would confirm whether or not that search was related to the case.
