NASHUA — Police are investigating the armed robbery of a mail carrier who was attacked while delivering mail on Blacksmith Way on Tuesday afternoon.

A USPS mail truck caught fire on La. Hwy 28 West near the Kisatchie National Forest Ranger Station. Unfortunately, all mail and packages aboard were lost in the incident. The incident occurred around 10 am Sunday.
