Man arrested by Overland Park police after serious hit-and-run crash involving mail truck

Overland Park Police have arrested a man who they say caused a serious crash involving a mail truck and then fled the scene.

After hours of searching the area near 154th and Switzer, the suspect is now in custody.

He is accused of stealing a car and fleeing from the crime scene.

The USPS worker involved in the crash was not injured.
