USPS mail truck catches fire in Dutchess County

A U.S. Postal Service truck caught fire at the intersection of Camby Road and Old Camby Road, prompting a swift response from the Union Vale Fire District, officials said.
Crews arrived to find an active fire in the engine compartment extending to the passenger area.
Additional crews quickly extinguished the blaze, preventing any damage to the mail.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation but is not considered suspicious.
