Youngsville Postmaster bids farewell after 23 years

YOUNGSVILLE — After dedicating 23 years of unwavering commitment to her role as Postmaster for the local communities, Patricia Meyer is stepping down from her position at the Youngsville Post Office today, April 30. 

Her tireless efforts and dedication have been shared between Narrowsburg, Hankins, Callicoon, Fremont Center and Callicoon Center Post Offices as she has worked to ensure prompt and efficient postal services for all. 

Beginning her career as a Teller at the Youngsville Post Office, Meyer steadily climbed through the ranks to reach her current position. 

Her retirement marks a bittersweet moment for both her colleagues and customers alike who have come to know and respect her over the years. 

Two of her favorite aspects that she adored about her job were the people and the community that she was able to see and interact with throughout the years.

As a dedicated professional, Meyer cherished her unique job and found joy in every aspect of it.
