USPS Worker Hit With Gun While At Work In Harlem, Police Say

HARLEM, NY — Police are searching for a man who attacked an employee at a post office in Harlem last week, New York City Police Department officers said.

According to the NYPD, a man entered a post office located on East 110th Street between TK and TK and demanded money from a 51-year-old employee before striking her in the head with a gun on Jan. 10 at 6:15 p.m.

Then the perpetrator fled on a red and white bicycle, and no property was removed, police said.

The woman sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
