USPS Veteran Donald Jackson Appointed Apple Valley Postmaster After 35 Years of Service

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The U.S. Postal Service has named Donald Jackson as the new Postmaster for the Apple Valley Post Office, a position that builds on his 35-year career in public service and local commitment.

Jackson began his career with USPS in 1990 as a letter carrier and transferred to Apple Valley later that same year. He has since earned recognition as a Million Mile Safe Driver and has steadily moved into leadership roles. In 2023, he transitioned from carrier to supervisor before stepping into his current role as Postmaster.
