USPS OIG – Minnesota-North Dakota District: Delivery Operations

We performed audits at the Saint Paul Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) and three delivery units serviced by the P&DC in the Saint Paul, Minesota region during the week of November 13, 2023. The delivery units included the Apple Valley Branch, Saint Paul, MN; New Brighton Carrier Annex, Saint Paul, MN; and the Eagan Branch in Eagan, MN.

We also performed audits at the Bismarck Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) and three delivery units serviced by the P&DC in the Bismarck, ND region during the week of January 22, 2024. The delivery units included the Bismarck Carrier Annex, Bismarck, ND; Mandan Post Office, Mandan, ND; and the Minot Post Office, Minot, ND.

We issued individual reports for the six delivery units and the two P&DCs we visited. We also issued another report summarizing the results of our six delivery unit audits in the Minnesota-North Dakota District and our analysis of service performance in the district with specific recommendations for management to address.
