USPS mail truck driver injured after crashing into tree in Berks County

A mail truck driver in Berks County was injured after crashing into a tree in Cumru Township Sunday.

According to a social media post from the Township of Spring Professional Firefighters, fire crews had to free the driver after crashing into a tree in the Montrose Manor section of Cumru Township.

Officials said the driver was trapped between the dashboard and the steering wheel.

The driver was turned over to EMS for further evaluation.
